Youth felt little attachment to Vitasoy, a 70-year-old soybean drink that needed to connect with a 20-year-old digital generation to drive sales.

With more digital connections, teens connect with each other more in text or online messaging than in person. We transformed Vitasoy packs into instant messages to connect with teens and enable them to connect with each other. We created 70 unique pack designs with messages that they could hand to friends/families or write their own messages using our special blank packs. They could select their messages using message stickers we placed in magazines, collect fridge magnets for everyday reminders, or even post greeting cards. We even invited them to upload their own designs to our mini-site, Facebook or blogs and vote for their favourite packs.
